ljwx-website Deployment Scripts

This directory contains automation scripts for setting up and deploying ljwx-website using GitOps.

Quick Start

Option 1: GitOps Setup (First Time)

Run the complete GitOps setup with one command:

./setup-all.sh

This will guide you through all setup steps interactively (Harbor, GitHub Secrets, Argo CD).

Option 2: Direct Deployment (Quick Deploy)

For direct deployment to K3s without GitOps:

# Interactive mode
./one-click-deploy.sh

# Or quick mode (requires env vars)
export HARBOR_USERNAME="your-username"
export HARBOR_PASSWORD="your-password"
./quick-build-push-deploy.sh

See DEPLOY-README.md for detailed deployment documentation.

Script Categories

🚀 Direct Deployment Scripts (New!)

For quick build-push-deploy to K3s website namespace:

  • one-click-deploy.sh - Interactive full deployment with progress display
  • quick-build-push-deploy.sh - Fast silent deployment for automation
  • env.example - Environment variables template

⚙️ GitOps Setup Scripts

Troubleshooting

Harbor Setup Issues

Error: "Cannot connect to Harbor"

  • Check Harbor URL and credentials
  • Verify Harbor is accessible: curl -k https://harbor.eu.lingjingwanxiang.cn:8080

Error: "Project already exists"

  • This is normal, the script will continue
  • Robot account will still be created

GitHub Secrets Issues

Error: "gh: command not found"

# Install GitHub CLI
sudo apt install gh
# or
brew install gh

Error: "Not authenticated"

gh auth login
# Follow prompts to authenticate

Argo CD Deployment Issues

Error: "Argo CD not installed"

# Install Argo CD
kubectl create namespace argocd
kubectl apply -n argocd -f https://raw.githubusercontent.com/argoproj/argo-cd/stable/manifests/install.yaml

Application not syncing:

# Check Application status
kubectl get application ljwx-website-eu-dev -n argocd

# View Application details
argocd app get ljwx-website-eu-dev

# Manual sync
argocd app sync ljwx-website-eu-dev

CI/CD Pipeline Issues

Workflow failing on "Build and push":

  • Verify GitHub Secrets are set correctly
  • Check Harbor credentials: docker login harbor.eu.lingjingwanxiang.cn:8080

Image not updating in cluster:

  • Check ljwx-deploy repository was updated by CI
  • Verify Argo CD Application is in auto-sync mode
  • Force sync: argocd app sync ljwx-website-eu-dev

Verification Commands

# Check Harbor project
curl -k -u admin:password https://harbor.eu.lingjingwanxiang.cn:8080/api/v2.0/projects

# List GitHub Secrets
gh secret list -R BrunoGaoSZ/ljwx-website

# Check Argo CD Application
kubectl get application ljwx-website-eu-dev -n argocd

# View deployment
kubectl get all -n ljwx-website-dev

# Check ingress
kubectl get ingress -n ljwx-website-dev

# View logs
kubectl logs -f deployment/ljwx-website-dev-website -n ljwx-website-dev

Manual Steps (if scripts fail)

Manual Harbor Setup

  1. Login to Harbor UI: https://harbor.eu.lingjingwanxiang.cn:8080
  2. Create project ljwx (if not exists)
  3. Go to Projects → ljwx → Robot Accounts
  4. Create robot account with push/pull permissions
  5. Save credentials

Manual GitHub Secrets

# Using gh CLI
gh secret set HARBOR_USERNAME -R BrunoGaoSZ/ljwx-website
gh secret set HARBOR_PASSWORD -R BrunoGaoSZ/ljwx-website
gh secret set DEPLOY_REPO_TOKEN -R BrunoGaoSZ/ljwx-website

# Or via GitHub UI
# Settings → Secrets and variables → Actions → New repository secret

Manual Argo CD Deployment

kubectl apply -f /root/codes/ljwx-deploy/argocd-apps/ljwx-website-eu-dev.yaml
argocd app sync ljwx-website-eu-dev
